2024 Annual Conference

SAVE THE DATE: Joint ACRLNEC - NELIG Conference June 3-4, 2024

We are delighted to announce that the 2024 annual conference will take place Monday, June 3 & Tuesday, June 4.  The ACRL New England Chapter & the New England Library Instruction Group (NELIG) will again co-host this year’s conference, which will comprise a one-day in-person conference (June 3) and a fully virtual second day (June 4).  NELIG sessions will be spread across both days.

Mark your calendars:

  • June 3, 2024: Hogan Campus Center, College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA
  • June 4, 2024: Online

This year’s annual conference theme is:

Two Steps Forward (One Look Back)
Or: There & Back Again

We look forward to sharing in coming weeks more about this year’s theme.  We will be welcoming session proposals representative of the broad range of ways those who work in academic libraries are drawing on past practice and experience to plan for and engage with what (we think) comes next in systems - acquisitions & discovery - transformational technologies - instruction & liaison work - space planning - archival, preservation & conservation work - fiscal & administrative challenges - accessible & inclusive services - the rapid pace of change - cleaning up our digital records & artifacts - professional development – and so much more!

A call for proposals will go out by February 2024.

We look forward to connecting with you in the coming months!
